 CAF Logo
The Confederation of African Football (CAF; French: Confédération Africaine de Football) represents international football in Africa, and organises the African Nations Cup as well as the African Champions League. The confederation was founded in 1957, and received a guaranteed berth in the World Cup for the first time in 1970. The CAF annually presents the African Footballer of the Year award.CAF also organises the UEFA/CAF Meridian Cup with UEFA for youth teams.See also a list of CAF member nations.
